Net Zero Leiston is a project aiming to create a net zero carbon community, as part of the UK’s commitment to achieving net zero carbon emissions. The first of its kind, it will be a template for other towns across the country.
A Net Zero community must be driven by the community itself, so with national and international reach in mind, we creating brand and communications tools to help Leiston raise its profile as a leader in the green revolution, and attract new opportunities to the area.
From the start, collaboration was key to this branding project. It was essential that stakeholders had their say, creating a sense of community.
We crafted a bold and instantly recognisable brand strategy and identity, before creating, developing and populating a website and social media channels, working closely with the project’s directors and honing our approach to clearly communicate a complex topic.
As with many campaigns, digital is accompanied by real world platforms, so we designed and created print materials to let the Leiston community know more about this, and seek their input, hand-delivering all 3,000 brochures on the doorstep of households throughout Leiston-cum-Sizewell.
