When The Unruly Pig set out to open a pub in Woodbridge serving “probably the best food in Suffolk”, they needed a brand as bold as their ambition. Naturally, they turned to Spring. We created a distinctive identity that broke from the norms and helped establish one of the UK’s most celebrated gastro pubs.
From the outset, it was clear this would not be a typical country pub. Our insight was the food, energy and personality behind The Unruly Pig deserved an identity just as bold and distinctive. In a market full of muted tones and heritage clichés, we created a striking hand-drawn illustration and brand identity that matched their vision.
The Unruly Pig became an instantly recognisable icon, flexible enough to evolve across digital, signage and print. The result is a brand with genuine differentiation that has grown alongside the business, now ranked among the UK’s top gastro pubs and regularly recognised in the National Restaurant Awards.
