At a pivotal moment of internal change, Sovereign Turf needed to articulate more effectively what already set them apart at the premium end of the turf market. Spring helped clarify and express that difference, creating a brand that aligned the team and helped customers understand clearly what makes them different.

With an internal restructure underway, Sovereign Turf saw the opportunity to realign its team and better articulate what already sets the business apart. They wanted to work with us to challenge category norms and push the creative thinking behind how their story was told.

Early conversations revealed a defining insight. While many competitors rely on plastic reinforcement to mask underdeveloped root systems, Sovereign Turf doesn’t. Their no-plastic approach, the expertise required to achieve it and the superior final product was central to how they worked, but this wasn’t expressed to customers clearly enough.

We reworked the brand to reflect their uncompromising approach, creating an identity rooted in heritage, innovation and quality. The result was a clearer expression of Sovereign Turf’s premium approach, that united the team internally and supported their ambitious business strategy.
