Spring made the most of the summer holiday season and conceived H2OMG, a fairground themed week-long consultation event at The Forum in Norwich. H2OMG was brought to life in fairground inspired design, games – including Beat the Bog where brown beanbags are thrown into toilets to reveal water usage facts, – handcrafted stands and a giant 4m tap!
As briefed by the client, the Anglian Water brand was challenged and pushed to deliver H2OMG, a fun brand away from what is expected of a utility supplier, but that was still recognisable as Anglian Water.
This design featured throughout the event and across five large stands: Beat the Bog, Water Wheel of Fortune – a roulette style wheel that offered spot prizes, – Test the Water interactive quiz, Go with the Flow – a magnet maze that followed the journey of our water source, – and a number of Face in the Hole boards that incorporated water wastage facts into their design.
Coverage was generated on BBC Radio Norfolk, BBC Look East, ITV Anglia, and Mustard TV. It had a double page spread in the Eastern Daily Press and coverage in all regional newspapers and their online channels to deliver a further reach of 3,286,622. Social media reach totalled 346,599 and 24,206 engagements.
