There are 1000s of light sensitive sleepers, for whom even the smallest amount of light can interrupt sleep. Blinds typically marketed as “Blackout” just simply don’t do the job. So when Audrey’s second child struggled with sleep, she took it upon herself to create a blind that was not only 100% blackout, but affordable too and in 2002 Easyblinds was born. Since then they have patented their revolutionary fabrics and gone on to help thousands of people with the glowing reviews to prove it. When Audrey came to us at the end of 2023 ready to take the brand to the next level with a complete refresh of their brand identity, channels and marketing we couldn’t wait to get started.
A beautifully simple product needed a beautifully simple identity. By highlighting the negative space within the “e” of our new brand font we create a sunrise, but that’s just the beginning of the story. Through simple repositioning our icon becomes a moon, a street light, a bedside lamp, anything we need to represent the various light sources that can impact sleep. A calming, contemporary colour palette, hand drawn illustrations and minimal photography complete the new look identity, alongside an overhaul of their tone of voice to ensure .
With the new identity in place we moved into the development of their brand touchpoints. As a direct to consumer ecommerce brand we started with the design and build of a new Shopify website. A streamlined user experience, with functionality to customise your blind online, is improving conversion rates whilst a greatly improved approach to fulfilment management is making their team very happy.
